Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche, Henry Charles and Rabjam Rinpoche after the First Nations Welcoming Ceremony.
This event was a very auspicious event for all involved! Many people travelled from across the world to see Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche and Rabjam Rinpoche and received beautiful teachings from both great Lamas in Vancouver's UBC Long House. Changling Rinpoche and Sangha of Munsong Gonpa
Changling Rinpoche is very pleased to report that all the building at Munsong Gonpa, Kalimpong are almost complete. The nuns moved into their room in March of this year and the kitchen is almost finished.

Rinpoche's annual retreat at Shechen Changchub Ling, Sproat Lake will be 4 days this year, Aug 12 - 15. Called 'Rechungar', this years retreat will be expanding on last year, but still open for everyone who feels a connection to being there. Each day will consist of Silent Meditation, Yoga, Teachings and Empowerments from Changling Rinpoche and group practice. Lotus Speech members from Australia, Canada and Honk Kong all gathered in Kathmandu last week for the Opening Ceremonies of Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche's first teaching year. Many amazing Rinpoche's were present and started the Ceremonies with a Drubchen of Vajrsattva, to purify the way for the rest of Yangsi Rinpoche's current teaching tour this year. |
