Lotus Speech is an entirely volunteer based society formed with the intention of assisting Changling Rinpoche spread the Dharma across Canada.

We are always in need of people willing to donate their time, skills and contacts, in the general running of the society, to organizing of events, large and small,  and  of course raising the necessary financial support to assist with everything from Rinpoche's flights to fund his various projects. If you think you may be able to contribute in any way, large or small, please email us at info@lotusspeech.ca!

Changling
Changling Rinpoche at Retreat Center, Summer, 2009

Lotus Speech Canada is based out of the Shechen Changchub Ling Canada retreat center on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

During his 2009 Teaching Tour on June 8, Changling Rinpoche with blessings from Rabjam Rinpoche in Kathmandu officially opened the Sproat Lake Retreat Centre as a sister Shechen Center.

The retreat center is located in a beautiful park like setting just minutes walk from Sproat Lake. The shrine room, overlooking the property is a serene and inspiring place to practice and visit especially now with the addition of the Vajrayogini Sand Mandala made and consecrated this June at the yearly 4 day retreat. The Center has already been blessed by many great masters and is looking forward to hosting Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche and Rabjam Rinpoche in 2010.

Please contact us for more information on attending regular, ongoing Guru Yoga, Tara and Vajrayogini practice sessions, or would like to visit the Mandala Monday-Friday 10am - 3pm: info@lotusspeech.ca. For directions, see this map.

To stay and do private retreat at Shechen Changchub Ling Canada please email: info@lotusspeech.ca
